Course Details:

The ability to read and recite the Quran with Tajweed properly and is something that is expected of Muslims. We provide interactive one-on-one sessions to help our students learn Tajweed rules. We focus on providing background information on each surah for a more historical perspective.

This course also features a range of activities that ensure the student learns and understands the meanings of the surah. Studying the Quran - especially at a young age for kids - is a great way to learn more about the Arabic language. So, if your child is learning Arabic as a second language, getting started while they're still young can be fruitful.

Course Objectives 

Teach proper pronunciation (Makharij & Sifaat of Arabic letters). 

Master Tajweed rules for accurate Quranic recitation. 

Develop fluency and confidence in reading the Quran. 

Learn the etiquette (Adab) of Quran recitation. 

Improves memorization. 

Prepare students to recite prayers in public settings.  

Course Levels

Beginner Level

• Introduction to Arabic letters and their sounds. 
• Basic vowel markings (Fatha, Kasra, Damma). 
• Simple word and verse recitation. 
• Short Surahs (e.g., Surah Al-Fatiha, Surah Al-Ikhlas). 

Intermediate Level: 

• Rules of Tajweed (Noon Sakinah, Meem Sakinah, Qalqalah, etc.). 
• Moderate-paced recitation. 
• Practice with longer verses and Surahs. 

Advanced Level:

• Mastery of all Tajweed rules. 
• Recitation with proper rhythm (Tarteel). 
• Fluency in long Surahs and Juz (e.g., Juz Amma). 
• Training for Imamah (leading prayers).  

What you’ll learn

In Online Quran tutoring, you will learn a set of skills and knowledge that will help you read the Holy Quran correctly and accurately according to the rules of Tajweed. Among what you will learn:

Pronunciation correction and letter exits:

• Learn how to pronounce Arabic letters correctly from the approved exits.
• Correct common mistakes in pronouncing letters and words.

Tajweed Rules:

• Learn the rules of Tajweed, such as Idhhar, Idgham, Iqlab, and Ikhfa.
• Apply Tajweed rules such as Madd, Qalqalah, and Ghunnah in reciting the verses.

Improving Recitation:

• Training to read fluently and clearly while maintaining the correct stopping and starting.
• Improving the rhythm and sound of recitation to match the rules of Tajweed.
• Pausing and Starting:
• Understanding the correct stopping and starting positions during recitation to ensure correct understanding of the verses.
• Practicing the appropriate stopping when reading aloud or in prayer.

Memorizing some Surahs:

With Quran reading with a teacher, the focus may be on memorizing specific Surahs while taking into account the correct recitation.

Review and Evaluation of Performance:

Receive feedback from the teacher to correct errors and develop reading skills.
